Auto Expo 2018: Suzuki Burgman Street 125cc Scooter Unveiled

The competition in the 125cc scooter market just got stiffer as Suzuki unveiled its new Burgman Street 125cc Scooter at the Auto Expo 2018. The Burgman Street will compete against the likes of Honda Grazia 125, the newly introduced Maestro 125 and the likes in the Indian market. Suzuki has not shared the launch details, although we might see the scooter ride into the showrooms in the second half of 2018.

Mechanically, the new Burgman Street uses a 124.3cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air cooled engine. While Suzuki did not reveal the performance number, the motor will most likely deliver 8.7 PS of power @ 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque @ 5,000 rpm.

The scooter uses a telescopic fork upfront and Hydraulic type suspension at the rear. Stopping power is provided by a disc at the front and a drum unit at the rear. The scooter also comes equipped with tubeless tyres. Check out all the technical specifications in the image below (click to expand):
