Indian owned British marquee Jaguar, a part of the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) group, recently announced the launch of the F-Type SVR in the country, with prices starting at INR 2.45 crore. The model will be available in both, Coupe and Convertible forms, and are priced at INR 2.45 crore and INR 2.63 crore respectively (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
The most significant change for the Jaguar F-Type SVR lies under its hood. The model features a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine that is capable of producing 567 bhp at 6500 rpm and 700 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. This engine comes mated to an eight speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels via an all wheel drive system with torque vectoring. The F-Type SVR can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 3.7 seconds. While the Coupe variant has a top speed of 322 kmph, the top speed of the Convertible variant stands at 314 kmph.

Over and above the standard features, the F-Type SVR comes equipped with LED headlamps, Satin Grey 20 inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, titanium exhausts, revised suspension setup and a body kit that includes the carbon fibre spoiler, diffuser and front bumper. Inside, the model features SVR specific seats, SVR logos and aluminium paddle shifters.
A few other features available as standard include an eight touchscreen infotainment system, 380W Meridian audio system, emergency brake assist, dynamic stability control, six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors and rain sensing wipers.
