Could be any two of Suzuki Gixer, Suzuki Hayate facelift and an automatic scooter

Suzuki Motorcycles have invited Motoroids to a launch event that would mark the entry of two new bikes in Indian Two Wheelers Industry.

While one of these two products could be the 110cc automatic scooter that is headed to the Auto Expo 2014, the other could be the upcoming Suzuki Gixer naked motorcycle that was spotted testing recently. There also have been some reports doing rounds on the cyber space, stating that Suzuki is close to launching an updated Hayata commuter bike. While no one seems to know what exactly is coming our way, it is pretty much for sure that it would be two of these three upcoming models.

Upcoming Suzuki 110cc Suzuki Automatic Scooter

The upcoming 110cc Suzuki Automatic scooter would be powered by an all-new 110cc, single-cylinder  engine that is likely to have a max power of 7.5 bhp. With the launch of this new scooter, SMIL will enter the fast growing 110cc automatic scooter segment and target some really established models from HMIL and TVS.

Suzuki Gixer is an upcoming motorcycle that was recently spotted testing on the NOIDA expressway. With looks that would remind some of you of the Pulsar 200NS, the upcoming Suzuki motorcycle is looking poised to enter the highly competitive 150cc segment. The Suzuki Gixer would become a direct rival to bikes like the Honda CB-Trigger and is most likely to share its engine and 6-Speed gearbox with the GS150R. Interestingly, the test bike was seen sporting a twin pipe muffler assembly!

Suzuki Hayate facelift

Also on the cards is an updated Suzuki Hayate commuter bike. The Suzuki Hayate facelift would get new graphics and some minor mechanical changes that would bestow the motorcycle with a better fuel efficiency.

While I would like to repeat that no one knows what exactly Suzuki Motorcycles India Ltd intends to launch on 27th, we really don’t see any other product coming our way from the Indian subsidiary of the popular Japanese bike maker.

The only other possibility that we can think of here is that of a formal launch event for the Suzuki Inazuma GW250, which missed out on an official launch event back when its prices were announced

Stay tuned to Motoroids for more updates on the upcoming Suzuki motorcycles.
