Suzuki Inazuma launched in India With a Price Tag of Rs 3.1 lakh Ex-Delhi

Suzuki Motorcycle India Limited (SMIL) has launched its new 250cc Suzuki GW250 Inazuma in India. The price of the bike, which was leaked much before its official debut, has been kept at a stratospheric Rs 3.1 lakh (ex- Delhi). The ex-Mumbai price of the Suzui Inazuma is still higher, at Rs 3.2 lakh. Much debate has happened over the price of the Suzuki Inazuma, which is being considered extremely steeply priced by both enthusiasts and media alike.

The Inazuma is powered by a 248cc, 4-stroke, 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine with a peak power output of 26 bhp and peak torque output rated at 24 Nm. The engine is mated to a six speed manual gearbox. The bike’s specs are slightly below par for the segment. Even with its twin cylinders it just about matches the output of the single cylinder CBR250R. The Suzuki Inazuma tips the scale at 182 kgs, which is rather heavy for a 250cc machine. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 13.3 liters.

The Suzuki Inazuma, also known as the GW 250 in some markets, will be available in two colours – black and red. The Inazuma will be important by Suzuki Motorcycles India limited as a CKD and then assembled at its Manesar plant.

“Suzuki wishes to offer the Indian rider a product at every price point and in every segment. The Inazuma is a practical 250cc bike that expands Suzuki’s motorcycle portfolio into the premium segment which is showing growth potential. We believe that the Inazuma will be attractive for the youth, college students and motorcycle enthusiasts.” Said Atul Gupta, executive vice president, SMIL, at the launch.

  1. “We believe that the Inazuma will be attractive for the youth, college students and motorcycle enthusiasts” – such a statement by Atul Gupta only makes me wonder what he smokes in the morning. A 3 lakh plus bike for college students!!!!!! Even a motorcycle enthusiast will think not consider this bike as worthy of a purchase at that price tag.

thats ok sachin 🙂 salman wont get a single penny cause no one would ever even consider buying this bike 😀

  3. Half of the money of every inzuma sold will probably go into their brand ambasader salman khan bank account…..
