Kawasaki ER-6n Review : Bare Brawn

The ER 6n in pictures:

Kawasaki ER 6n head lamp (2)

With the bikini fairing comes the swept back, long head lamp which looks the part, and is a daytime running unit as well.

Kawasaki ER 6n Instrument Cluster (3)

Minimalist, legible instrumentation to go with the street-fighter theme.

Kawasaki ER 6n switch gear (4)

Flamboyantly styled mirrors work well, but show a lot of elbow.

Kawasaki ER 6n tank

The 16 liter fuel tank from the Ninja 650 has been carried over, along with the tail section and other cycle parts.

Kawasaki ER 6n (78)

The ER 6n gets 5-way adjustable levers for reach.

Kawasaki ER 6n front brake fluid reservoir

Unusually large front brake fluid reservoir.

Kawasaki ER 6n (115)

The 7 – step adjustable single offset lay-down Shock finished in racy red – breaks the monotony of black.

Kawasaki ER 6n indicator (2)

Conventional, clear lens indicators here – no fancy LED jobs.

Kawasaki ER 6n exhaust (1)

Neatly tucked away exhaust canister; one of the key elements that help centralize the ER-6n’s mass for improved dynamics.

Kawasaki ER 6n tail lamp (3)

The ER 6n’s hind – a familiar sight for those accustomed to the 650.

Kawasaki ER 6n (63)

Rubberized foot pegs are aggressively positioned;  would have loved the metal ones though.

  1. Correction ” Two new shrouds covering the upper half of the front USD forks complete the changes.” This bike does not have USD. It has conventional forks.
