Yamaha India is happy to announce that their best-selling motorcycles, the YZF-R15 and the FZ/FZS have now won the first position in the premium and upper executive motorcycle categories respectively, in a survey conducted by J.D. Power. The Global marketing information and services company, J.D. Power has studied about the 2-wheeler industry in depth and has come out with results, suggesting that Upper Executive and premium motorcycle owners have now become more sensitive towards the fuel economy of their vehicles. However, these Yamaha bikes haven’t disappointed their owners, hence, they get the top spot in their respective segments, in the product satisfaction survey.
The (2WAPEAL) (2-Wheeler Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout) study is particularly based on evaluations from over 8,826 owners who have purchased a new 2-wheeler vehicle between March 2018 and October 2018. This study includes over 85 two-wheeler models from nine different companies. The study was covered from September 2018 to December 2018 in about 45 cities across India. The study mainly examines over 34 attributes, across 6 performance categories like control switches or locks, engine and transmission, fuel economy, looks and styling, ride and handling and the seats.
The YZF-R15 is ranked first in the premium category by a considerable margin, as compared to other models, while the FZ/FZS has also secured the top spot in the Upper Executive category which is also much higher than the other models in its segment. The YZF-R15 and FZ/FZS motorcycles have further asserted the brand’s commitment to offering amazing and exciting products. Both the bikes are now loaded with a range of safety features like dual-channel ABS and a new fuel-injection system, for a more thrilling, safe and exciting experience.
