Yamaha Saluto RX Launched in India

Yamaha India today launched its latest entry level bike – ‘Saluto RX’. Priced at INR 46,400 (Ex-Delhi), Yamaha claims the bike is specially designed for Indian roads and offers a mileage of 82 kmpl* (*under standard test conditions).

Powering the Saluto RX is a newly developed air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 110cc, 2-valve single-cylinder engine. The engine churns out 7.5PS of max power and 8.5 Nm of peak torque at 4500 RPM. The engine, frame and wheels have comprehensive weight-reducing designs that contribute to the model’s overall fuel efficiency. As per the Japanese giant, the new model is the lightest in its class at 98 kgs, which is approximately 22 kgs lighter than the company’s previous models in its class.
