Popular Indian bike manufacturing company, India Yamaha Motor held the Yamaha FZ Raiders Full Throttle Meet on Saturday at the Inorbit mall, Mumbai amidst much fanfare. The event saw young enthusiastic participants showcasing their mettle in various activities lined up for the day. This initiative is part of Yamaha’s attempt to connect with the customers better and increase their brand awareness.
This is the first time that Yamaha has come up with a concept like this. Yamaha is planning to host a second FZ Raiders Full Throttle Meet in New Delhi In November, subsequently moving on to other cities in the country.
The day witnessed a series of fun filled activities – the Gymkhana contest, Bike Riding Rally by FZ Owners and Bike Customization Contest to name a few. There were prizes distributed to winners from each category and as a befitting finale to the eventful day, the Bombay Rock Project enthralled the audience with their eclectic mix of Bollywood meets Rock and Roll compositions.
The Yamaha FZ Raiders Full Throttle Meet is a pan-India marketing initiative that will cover the entire western and southern belt. Few cities where the FZ Raiders presence will be felt are Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa in west India and Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad and Bangalore in the south.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jun Nakata, Director (Sales and Marketing), India Yamaha Motor, said, “It has been our company’s policy to manufacture premium bikes and to ensure overall satisfaction to our customers. Brand building exercise is important to every company, we already have a loyal customer base but we would like to now venture into newer avenues and build relations with our potential FZ riders. The FZ Raiders Full Throttle Meet is a good opportunity for us to do just that. Apart from indulging in fun and games, we are also looking to give our potential customers the benefits of practical riding experience. We hope that what they take from here, will last them a lifetime.”
