Along with the new YZF-R15 Version 3.0 (155 CC) MotoGP Limited Edition, India Yamaha Motor also announced the introduction of two new colour options and the addition of an optional rear disc brake to its FZ-S FI range of motorcycles. The FZS-FI will now be available in – Matt Green and Darknight colour options. The roadster 149cc has been priced at INR 87,042/- (Ex Showroom Delhi). India Yamaha Motor will continue to offer the lower variant with a rear drum brake which is available for INR 83,042 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Apart from the addition of two new colour options and a rear disc brake, the FS-S FI continues to feature the same mechanical specifications. Thus, propeling duties are performed by 149cc, air cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine that is tuned to deliver 13.2 PS of maximum power @ 8,000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of peak torque @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a five speed transmission.
Meanwhile, India Yamaha Motor has announced its new brand campaign ‘The Call of the Blue’ in order to draw a parallel to its product planning, marketing and customer engagement strategies with the brand’s global image of ‘excitement, stylish and sporty’. The Call of the Blue campaign is aimed to build up the exhilaration of racing as it introduces YZF-R15 Version 3.0 (155 CC) Moto GP Limited Edition and Yamaha FZS-FI (149 CC) with rear disc brake in two new colors today.
The campaign will follow its fundamental publicity through electronic commercials and digital campaigns pan India. It will be based on “Yamaha Racing Blue” color and will stimulate with an ‘anthem’ that draws attention with a probe – “When did you hear the Call of the Blue?” Yamaha’s further drive to instrument the campaign through distinguishing visual identity will also be carried across all Yamaha authorized dealerships.
