The VW Vento is sold in Russia, South Africa, Philippines and Malaysia as the Polo sedan. The car is available in 1.4 and 1.6 liter engine options. Outside India, the car is available with all the basic safety features such as ABS, Airbags etc as standard.
The 1.6-liter MPI engine is the same one which is available in the Indian Vento. The car is available with the 5 speed manual and 6 speed automatic transmission. This 1.6 liter block produces a max power of 105 PS @ 5,250 rpm and a peak torque of 153 Nm @ 3,800 rpm.
