Volkswagen Polo AllStar launched in India, prices start at INR 7.51 lakh (Ex-Delhi)

Volkswagen India recently launched their ‘hottest hatch’, the Polo GTI with a price tag of INR 25.99 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). Now, the company has introduced yet another variant of the Polo hatchback known as the Polo AllStar. About a month ago, the German automobile manufacture had revealed the special edition of the vehicle through official images.

Launched with a price tag of INR 7.51 lakh for the petrol trim and INR 9.07 lakh for the diesel trim (all prices Ex-Showroom, Delhi), the Polo AllStar commands a premium of about INR 30,000 as compared to the standard Polo. Upgrades to the Polo-AllStar remain purely cosmetic and hence, the model is powered by the conventional 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 105 PS with 175 Nm of torque and the 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 90 hp with 230 Nm of torque.

Visual updates seen on the Polo AllStar includes a new design for the 15 inch alloy wheels, ‘AllStar’ badging on the B-pillars and a new ‘Blue Silk’ paintjob that is currently seen only on the Ameo compact sedan. Moving on to the interiors, the model receives new upholstery with contrasting stitching and contrast coloured stripes, armrest for the front row with a storage compartment, ‘AllStar” scuff plates, metallic finished pedals, rear HVAC vents.
