VinFast has achieved a significant milestone in its India journey with the opening of its first dealership in Bihar. The new outlet in Patna is also the company’s 60th retail outlet in the country. The latest addition shows how quickly its dealer network has grown.
First VinFast outlet in Bihar
The new dealership has been set up by Patliputra Motors Private Limited and is located on NH-30, Bypass Road, Paijawa, Patna. It is a 3S facility, so customers can get sales, service and spare parts at the same location.
The facility covers 11,500 sq ft, including a 3,000 sq ft showroom. Customers can check out VinFast electric vehicles and get after-sales support at the same outlet.
60 outlets across India
It gives local buyers space to explore. The Patna outlet takes VinFast’s Indian retail network to 60 dealerships. The company plans to reach 75 dealerships across more than 60 cities by the end of 2026.
Its network now includes major cities as well as tier 2 and tier 3 markets. The Bihar entry gives the brand a retail and service presence in another important part of eastern India.

The VF MPV 7 is another model in the lineup. It is a seven-seater electric MPV with an ARAI-certified range of 517 km. Fast charging can take the battery from 10 to 70 percent in around 30 minutes.
More support for EV buyers
VinFast is also working on areas beyond vehicle sales. Its plans include local manufacturing, charging infrastructure, partnerships and battery-related initiatives.
Buyers can also use the Value Assured Programme, which provides a predefined buyback value after a fixed ownership period. Complimentary charging through the V-Green network is available until March 31, 2029. The company also has a Trade Gas for Electric programme for customers moving from petrol or diesel vehicles to electric cars.
What comes next
VinFast CEO Tapan Ghosh said the 60-dealership milestone and the Bihar entry are important steps for the company. With 15 more outlets planned, the next target is 75 dealerships across more than 60 cities by the end of 2026.
The Patna dealership adds another sales and service point for VinFast customers. If the company keeps expanding at this pace, its presence will cover more parts of India before the year ends.
