VIDEO: Yamaha NV-X Super Sports Scooter teaser no. 3 released

As we had expected, Yamaha has released the third instalment of the promotional video series of their upcoming power scoot following the two that came in August and September. So, bragging more about the upcoming Yamaha NV-X Super Sports Scooter, the teaser video confirms some of the features that were rumored before. Just a couple of days ago we had updated you guys regarding the spyshots of the NV-X scoot that emerged on the internet. Two units of the same were spotted doing rounds on the streets of Bekasi, Indonesia.

The images revealed almost every detail of the Yamaha NV-X leaving very little to imagination. While these spyshots have shown us what the NV-X looks like in its full glory, the teaser videos give us an insight about what’s packed inside. Speaking of the latest teaser video, it confirms that the power scoot will be powered by a Yamaha’s Blue Core engine. The 155cc unit is equipped with Variable Valve Actuation technology and will likely make  14.8 Bhp at 8,000rpm and 14.4 Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.

Also, the Yamaha NV-X will be offered with ABS as standard. The front will be equipped with Twin eye LED headlights while the rear illumination module will comprise of LED tail and  brake lights. Other features will include a smart key syste, 25 Litres of under seat storage, digital Instrument cluster with 5.8 inch LCD display (tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge and time), and 140mm wide – 14-inch wheels.

Unlike the previous teaser videos, the latest one doesn’t suggest that the next video will be up next month. Reports suggest that Yamaha will launch their power scooter early next year but we think that it may come sooner. We have ridden the Aprilia SR150 that rides with the same character as this one and we quite like the way it performs. And now, the upcoming Yamaha NV-X has heightened our hopes.
