It was back in November last year when Yamaha unveiled the concept avatar of the R25. The Japanese auto maker even released a video which featured the Doctor ( Valentino Rossi ) himself. After keeping Yamaha fans waiting for more than 4 months, the company finally unveiled the production model of the R25 in Indonesia last month. Now here we have a video which shows how the quarter liter Yamaha is made.

Powering the R25 is a 250 cc 2-cylinder mill with DOHC direct-drive camshaft with 8 valve. The engine features high compression combustion chamber, intake channel down draft type, independent 12 hole injector, liquid-cooled, DiASil Forged Piston Cylinder. The engine churns out a max power of 36 PS and peak torque of 22.1 Nm.
the R25 boasts of a Diamond Combination frame and compact engine design, front suspension combined with the inner tube diameter of 41 mm, rear suspension type monocross, asymmetric rear long arm, mid-ship muffler, center of gravity of the bike (weight 166 kg ) with perfect 50:50 distribution offering sportier control.
 The technologies on the R25 include :
– Supersport speedometer with latest technology is equipped with shift timing indicator light, gear position, fuel consumption indicator, oil change indicator, trip meter, FI diagnostic, engine temperature, and a timer. (Multifunction meters)
– Floating-type front brake disc with dual piston,
– Diamond type frame with a special treatment that has 2 layers of coating, electrodeposition coating for the base layer and the top layer wrapped which makes it more durable – a global standard for the frame of the bike.
