The latest sighting of the upcoming TVS Apache RR 310S, formerly known as the Akula 310, comes to us courtesy YouTube channel Moto Stories. In the latest video, we can see a Bajaj Dominar 400 trying to keep up with two test mules of the TVS Akula 310 on the NH-7. The TVS Akula 310 seems to pack some serious firepower and the motorcycle, as seen on Dominar’s speedometer, can easily cross the 150 kph mark, and we believe it can venture into the 160s. “I was hunted and demolished by the sheer grunt of the Akula 310,” says the YouTuber in the description.
Here’s the video of Bajaj Dominar 400 chasing the upcoming TVS Akula 310:
He even got to chat with the riders, getting an upclose look at the motorcycles. Here’s the second footage:
As reported earlier, the upcoming TVS motorcycle is inching closer to production, and we may see it arrive in the showrooms in the second half of 2017. Back in December 2016, we saw the unique tail light of the upcoming motorcycle while a leaked image revealed the instrument cluster of the Akula 310. As you would’ve read in our previous reports, the 310 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine is based on the BMW G310R’s motor, where it is rated at 34 bhp and 21 Nm. Suspension, brakes and wheels are also shared (albeit with minor tweaks) with the Indo-German street fighter, also due in India in 2017.
