Who would understand a tire better than nine time World Champion Valentino Rossi? Rossi’s expertise at circuit racing, along with his skills with a bike have been helping Bridgestone, the manufacturers of MotoGP spec tires, with the development of their products for the street use. The latest to come from Bridgestone is the new Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S20 EVO, the successor to the highly acclaimed S20 sportbike tire.
Talking about his involvement with Bridgestone, Rossi says: “When pushing to the limit you learn a lot about everything. Yourself. The bike. The tire. Sharing my experience, feelings and knowledge from the racetrack is important to those around me, it keeps the technology evolving.”
Rossi has played a big role in enabling Bridgestone to come up with a a tire “that improves upon the class-leading performance and safety of the S20, with the added bonus of greater durability and stability.”
