We are just a few days away from the beginning of 2015 EICMA show, and one motorcycles are sticking their necks out of their burrows, one after another before their official reveal. Upping the excitement preceding the EICMA, the blokes at Moto.it have revealed a video of the new 2016 MV Agusta Brutale 800. The leaked video, which is an official promo, shows the MY 2016 Brutale 800 in its full glory, albeit without revealing any of its technical details.

While still largely based on the current Brutale 800, the MY 2016 features quite a few interesting updates. Keeping all the good bits from its capable forerunner, the new model will try to improve what’s already an excellent motorcycling package.

The video, revealing the motorcycle in full shows us the changes the exotic machine has underwent in its 2016 avatar. While still retaining the familiar lines from the current gen model, the new version will incorporate some all-new bits. The tail section has been revised, while the area under the rider seat features a see through cavity as a new design element.

The tank has also undergone changes, and seems more sculpted on top, though the overall shape appears to be less sharp. The two-tone side panels below the tank are sharper and more horizontally oriented than before. The intake ducts and radiator fairings have also been given their bit of stylistic alterations.

Headlamp has been restyled too, along with the surrounding mini-fairing and the crown. The headlamp unit, which is more aerodynamically styled on the new model, also gets a new LED ring around it as a DRL, adding greatly to its aesthetic appeal. The instrumentation seems to be reworked, too, hinting at the addition of new electronic aids.

At the rear, the tail-lamp assembly has been restyled and gets the now indispensable LED treatment.  Even the exhaust has been reshaped – it’s sharper, exposing its cavities a bit more from the sides and extends more towards the rear.

The ten spoke wheels on the current model seem to have been replaced by new 5 spoke alloys in gloss black finish. The bike gets Brembo brakes with radial callipers, while the front fork also gets painted in gloss back here.

While we think that the frame of the new motorcycle is almost unchanged, we will have to wait for the final word from MV at the bike’s official unveil. Ditto, for the Engine, though we do expect a minor bump up in both power and torque output numbers. We do expect some updates on the electronics front too – think new riding modes.

The current Brutale 800 features a three-cylinder 798cc engine with 125 hp of peak power (11600 rpm) and 81 Nm of peak torque at 8,600 rpm.

The 2016 MV Agusta Brutale 800 will officially be unveiled on Monday at the EICMA in Milan. Expect us to get you all the details live from the show. Check out the video below, followed by screen grabs from the promo
