The RS version is likely to get the same 5-litre supercharged V8 engine of the standard Range Rover Sport. However, it will receive tweaks to make more power churning out 542bhp and 680Nm of torque which is about 39bhp and 55Nm more powerful than the current, top of the line supercharged version of the Range Rover.
This added power is expected to propel the new RS from nought to 100kph in around 4.8 seconds and would give it a top speed of approximately 265 kph.
The Range Rover Sport RS is also expected to pack a stiffer suspension setup along with larger wheels and upgraded brakes. At the back it will sport four exhaust pipes and a prominent diffuser.
