VIDEO: Delhi Youth loses control and life while racing with friends on his Benelli 600

Himanshu Bansal, a 24-year-old man from Delhi lost control of his Benelli 600 and his life while racing two of his friends on high-capacity motorcycles on the streets of Delhi. The horrific incident was caught on camera by one of Himanshu’s friends who was involved in the dangerous act. According to the cops, all three motorcyclists were riding at silly speeds in traffic, starting from Connaught Place in central Delhi towards Mandi House after attending a party.

Riding a Benelli TNT 600i, Himanshu was ahead of another rider astride a Kawasaki Ninja 300, who had an action camera mounted to his helmet and was filming the entire race. The third motorcycle involved in the act was another Benelli 600, which suggests that if the trio was racing, the speeds were definitely high. As Himanshu cut through traffic, risking his own life and that of others, a man trying to cross the road at Mandi House station took him by surprise.

In an attempt to avoid the person, he still manages to hit the man, the motorcycle veers to the left, and the rider was thrown off after the bike hit the sidewalk outside Lady Irwin College. The police said Himanshu was rushed to a hospital but it was too late.
