Video: Cadillac station wagon beats Nissan GT-R in drag race

Here’s a video that would make your eyes pop out in surprise. What you have here is a Cadillac CTS-V sports station wagon beating the holy GT-R in a drag race by a fraction of a second. The station wagon, of course, is not stock and is heavily modded by the US based performance tuner Hennessey.

The modified Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon with an auto transmission is running on drag tyres, while the GT-R it’s fighting against is totally stock. Not fair, some would say, but even with all that ammo, for a heavy family mover to beat one of the greatest supercars in the world is no small feat.

The tuned CTS-V produces 659 PS against the 492PS GT-R. However, the CTS-V weighs substantially more than the GT-R. The 0-100km/h time for both cars is the same at 3.5 seconds. Check out the video.
