Hyundai India has released the first teaser video for the upcoming Verna facelift via its social media channels. The company had previously shared a few teaser images and a sketch revealing a few features that the model will come equipped with.
The teaser video embedded below reveals the silhouette of the upcoming 2017 Verna along with a few details such as the new LED tail lamps, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, circular fog lamps and the signature cascading grille design. The company has said that the model will arrive soon although no specific time-frame has been mentioned. The video also reveals that bookings for the ‘Next Gen Sedan’ will open shortly.

A few highlights of the 2017 Hyundai Verna facelift, apart from the features mentioned above, will include new alloy wheels and a redesigned rear bumper for the exterior. Inside, the new Verna will receive a dual tone black and beige theme and a large touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Details on the engine specifications have not been revealed although it is believed that they are likely to remain unchanged. Upon launch, the new 2017 Hyundai Verna facelift will rival the Honda City, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid and the Maruti Ciaz.
