Skoda Superb facelift India launch soon. Teaser pics and details

Skoda India has started releasing teaser images for the soon to be launched 2014 Skoda facelift facelift. The Superb facelift has already been spotted on Indian tarmac on several occasions and will make its Indian debut at the upcoming Auto Expo 2014. The 2014 Skoda Superb facelift sports a set of visual updates at its front and at rear ends, which along a refreshed features list, endow the ageing car with a sense of freshness that should enable it to soldier on for some more years.

In its newest avatar, the Skoda Superb features a more angular front grille, the new Skoda logo, a set of redesigned headlights, new foglamps and a revised bumper. To accommodate all these changes, Skoda has bestowed the Superb with a new hood and a set of new front fenders. The new headlights on the Superb boast of a bi-xenon setup and DRLs.

At the rear, the car gets a new positioning for the license plate, which has moved upwards and in the process, bestows the car with a neater looking rear bumper. The car also gets LED tail-lamps, which in a fashion typical of Skoda, boast of a ‘C-motif’.

Other than all this, the car will come with a set of new design alloy wheels and Meteor Grey and Moon White colour options.

On the inside, the car gets thoroughly updated interior-panels. Along with additional features, Superb gets a new four-spoke steering wheel, along with new fabrics and patterns to choose from. The top of the line L&K variant gets a unique brown-ivory color combo. 

Engine options for the Superb refresh would remain the same. However, it is expected that they would get energy recuperation tech, automatic parking assist and push button start.
