It recently emerged that there is a new special edition of the Punto hatchback in pipeline! Dubbed as the Fiat Punto T-Jet Mopar Edition, the upcoming special version of the Fiat Punto was recently spotted in Brazil.
It may be noted that Mopar is an OEM parts supplier for Chrysler Group LLC and has also been in car customization business. Mopar specializes in brands such as Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth and Jeep. Mopar has been coming up with customization kits for various Fiat cars since 2012 and currently, offers customization plans for 500 and 500L. Till date, Mopar hasn’t come up with a customization plan for the Punto but all this is set to change with the advent of Fiat Punto T-Jet Mopar edition.
Production of the Fiat Punto T-Jet Mopar edition will be restricted to just 2000 units and every car will have a unique numbered plaque on dashboard. Quite obviously, the upcoming special edition will be pricier than the regular T-Jet variant.
The Fiat Punto T-Jet Mopar edition comes draped in a black paint job and features black painted mag wheels, a new body kit, entertainment system from Positron and leather seats with Mopar details in blue are the other special bits. The interiors of the car too seem to be covered in black, along with some faux carbon-fiber bits.
As of now, not much is known about the upcoming Fiat Punto T-Jet Mopar edition but safely expect us to update our readers with more details as soon as we manage to dig them out.
