What we have here today is a set of spy photos of the upcoming 2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, which could make its public debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show that would be held in September this year.
The upcoming Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake will be pitted against the 2014 Audi RS6 Avant and the likes. The Sportbrake variant of the XFR-S come equipped with bigger alloy wheels, larger air intakes in front bumper, more powerful brake kit and a quad exhaust arrangement.
Powering the upcoming Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake would be a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine rated that has max power output of 542 bhp (405 kW) and peak torque of 680 Nm (502 lb-ft). This engine is likely to come mated to a ZF sourced eight-speed gearbox that will enable the XFR-S Sportbrake to hit 100 km/h from standstill in less than 4.8 seconds. Top speed will be electronically limited to 300 kmph.
