No! We are not kidding. It’s the Bajaj Pulsar CS400. Not one but two test mules of the upcoming motorcycle have been spotted yet again *sigh*, this time revealing a few details of the posterior. Spy images sent by Motoroids reader Rohan Takalkar reveal some crucial details of the upcoming cruiser sports motorcycle. Now, some subtle updates to the posterior include an addition of the compulsory saree-guard and a matte aluminium tip instead of the all black exhaust that was showcased on the concept. The tail lamp does remind us of a Italian power cruiser.
Earlier spy images suggest that upfront, the CS400 will receive a watered down version of the headlamp cluster that was showcased at the Auto Expo while the up-side down suspension is replaced by the conventional telescopic forks. The previous spy image gave away the fact that the test mule was equipped with ABS although it could not be ascertained whether it was dual channeled or not.

Not much is known about the engine although it is expected to be closely related to KTM’s 373.2 cc engine with the use of Bajaj’s patented triple spark technology. Transmission duties are likely to be taken care of by a 6 speed transmission. The company is expected to launch the CS400 by the end of the year although no time-frame has been mentioned.
