While we eagerly await the updated, facelift Honda CBR250R and CBR150R for the Indian market, the folks at Indonesian motoring portal Cicak Kreatip have got their hands on the leaked details about the upcoming 2016 Honda CBR150R facelift. The leaked details have arrived via spy snaps of a presentation about the 2016 model from Honda’s stable. The leaked presentation reveals the list of updates that the 2016 CBR150R will come equipped with.
- The 2015 Honda CBR150R that never made it to India
According to the leaked data, the 2016 Honda CBR150R will come equipped with a new full-digital instrument cluster, a new LED headlight, new fuel tank design, updated seat design, new tail light and a redesigned swingarm to name a few details. The presentation also suggests that the 2016 model will get revised graphics and new colour options.
The 2016 model, however, will only be a cosmetically updated motorcycle and will continue to draw power from the same 149.4cc motor that propels the current generation model in the international market. At the heart of the 2016 CBR150R facelift is the same 149.4cc single-cylinder cooled engine that puts out 17.1 PS of power and 13Nm of torque.
