The 2015 Ford Endeavour test mule that you see in the pic above is a pre-production prototype and hence, can be seen sporting several body panels from the Territory. It may be noted that this doesn’t come across as much of a suprise, especially if you consider that the engineers at Ford have their focus set on suspension and powertrain. Also worth a mention is that these are the same set of engineers who have worked on the new Ranger. The upcoming 2015 Ford Endeavour is highly likely to be produced alongside the Ranger at Ford’s Thailand manufacturing facility.

It is being said that the new 2015 Endeavour aka Everest would be as much as 100mm longer than the Territory. It is highly expected that all this extra length would go towards enhanced leg-space for second and third row passengers. .

Visually, the 2015 Endeavour would borrow plenty from the Everest Concept. This is the same design study that also helped Ford in the development of the EcoSport.

The Australia spec 2015 Ford Endeavour could be powered by 3.2 litre five-cylinder and 2.2 liter four cylinder engines, which would come mated to six speed manual and automatic transmissions.

It is also highly likely that the next gen Endeavour would boast of a new coil spring rear suspension. If true, this would definitely be a big leap from the current Endeavour’s truck-like leaf spring setup. The gen next Endeavour would also come with a terrain selector, which would enable the driver to adjust the settings of engine, suspension, transmission and traction control as per his requirements.
