Seen here is a video of a completely undisguised specimen of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG.
The car was spotted during the filming for its commercial in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
S65 AMG sports very minor differences when compared to the S63 AMG. Visual differences between the two models lie in the front grille (S65 gets more chrome), front bumper (Here too the S65 gets some Bling), and alloy wheels. The new car also gets “V12 Biturbo” badging.
The V12 motor in question here displaces 6.0-litres and has a max power of 630 HP (463 kW) and a gut wrenching torque of 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm). Mated to a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT gearbox, this engine enables the 2014 S65 AMG to dismiss the 62 mph (100 km/h) mark from standstill in a scant 4 seconds.
While being such a powerful beast, it also won’t burn a hole in your pocket as it would the fuel efficiency is being claimed at 20 mpg. These are very good figures taking in account the size of this car and the engine.
The S65 AMG will also be offered with the Optional Magic Body Control system. This system has a stereo camera mounted within the windscreen which scans the road ahead and automatically modifies suspension damping to multiple or individual wheels within a fraction of a seconds and is featured already in the new W222 S-class. This, the new S Class, is slated for its Euro launch on the 20th of September 2013.
This luxury sports saloon will be unveiled in November at the L.A. Auto Show and deliveries are expected to begin in March 2014.
