Mercedes-Benz has published the first images of the all-new V-Class. This all new V- class from the German carmaker is scheduled to be released sometime next year.The V in V class denotes the Van family from Mercedes-Benz.
After pulling the plug on the R-class and the Viano mini bus, Mercedes-Benz has found the replacement with the V-class. The R-class was a slow selling product for the based carmaker.
Codenamed as W447, this new model will bring back the V-Class family name, which was replaced a decade ago by Mercedes-Benz. According to a report by WCF, business owners can buy a more upscale version of the V-class which will be available with the Vito moniker.
These photos depict a more people-oriented approach taken by Mercedes-Benz with the V-class. As can be seen from the images, the cabin is given a premium touch. The cabin features wood inserts, several metallic accents, chocolate color leather upholstery. The overall design of the cabin is on similar lines with the new models of the passenger cars from the firm. Also, Mercedes-Benz’s new media touch pad system will also feature, which will be linked to a central screen. This system will also be available on the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C class. The car will be available in six, seven or eight-seat configurations.
The V-class is expected to be unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March next year. Deliveries are expected short after the release.
