It’s raining 2014 Mahindra Scorpio facelift images! What we have here on these pages are a couple of 2014 Mahindra Scorpio facelift images from the FIFTH sighting of the upcoming vehicle this month and this time around, the car was spotted testing on the Kullu-Manali highway in Himachal Pradesh and akin to the last sighting, the car spotted has been seen wearing plenty of camouflage.
The Mahindra Scorpio facelift, unlike what was being said earlier, was conspicious by its absence at Auto Expo 2014 and is now being expected to be launched soon after the advent of next financial year.
The soon to be launched Mahindra Scorpio facelift would sport a revised front fascia that would consist of a new set of headlights that will sport LED DRLs. Also, the car would get a new bumper, an updated front radiator grille and a new design for the fog lamps. Other changes include a revised hood and new front fenders.

On the inside, the Scorpio facelift will come with a highly revised dashboard, an upholstery change and Mahindra XUV500′s steering wheel. Even the air vents seem to have been inspired by those on the XUV’s dashboard.
As we have been saying, they are very less chances that the 2014 Mahindra Scorpio facelift would come with any major mechanical updates. All this means that the Scorpio would continue to be powered by the tried and tested 2.2 liter four cylinder turbocharged mHawk diesel engine that powers the current model. This oil burner has a max power of 120 bhp and peak torque of 290 Nm. The motor can be had with either a 5 speed manual transmission or a 6 speed automatic gearbox on some trim levels.
