We’ve already brought to you at least a dozen set of Tata Bolt spy images this year and adding to this burgeoning collection of images is this latest batch of pics, which shows an undisguised Tata Bolt, draped in a shade of red. The latest batch of Tata Bolt images have been shot near Tata’s manufacturing facility in Pune and these new Tata Bolt images do a fine job of showing us how a red Tata Bolt looks like on public roads.
The new Tata Bolt was first showcased prior to the 2014 Auto Expo earlier this year and the upcoming model, along with the Tata Zest compact sedan, is one of the two upcoming Tata models that come across as fairly promising. It is being said that the upcoming Tata Bolt will enter production around July, with the Tata Bolt launch set to happen around this year’s festive season.
Powering the upcoming Tata Bolt is the car maker’s new turbocharged Revotron petrol engine that has a max power of 85 PS @ 5,000 rpm and peak torque of 140 Nm between 1,750-3,000 rpm. Powering the diesel variant is the highly popular 1.3-liter Quadrajet diesel motor that has a max power of 75 PS and peak torque of 190 Nm. It has already been confirmed that the diesel engine variant of the Zest sedan will be available with an AMT and in all likelihood, the car maker will bestow even the Bolt with an Automated Manual Transmission.
