Two-Wheeler sales in June 2014: Honda overall sales up 28%

Hyundai, Maruti, Toyota, Nissan and Mahindra have reported spike in sales for June 2014. One of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers in the country, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is now carrying that feel good momentum forward as it has come out with it’s report for two-wheeler sales in June.

Honda has managed 28% overall growth with a total sale of 323,224 units in the month of June 2014. The Japanese giant registered the highest single day retail of almost 7500 units during the Rath Yatra in Gujarat. Honda has reported a first quarter growth of 34%, which is two and a half times more than the total two-wheeler industry. Honda is concentrating on social responsibility along with sales, as it opened two new traffic training parks in Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack taking the total number of traffic training parks to four.
