Total sales of TVS Motor Company grew by 4% in October 2013 increasing from 190,438 units registered in October 2012 to 197,905 units in the current month.
Two wheeler sales grew by 2% with sales increasing from 186,376 units in October 2012 to 189,979 units in October 2013. Domestic two wheeler sales grew by 2% increasing from 170,273 units in October 2012 to 173,229 units in 2013. Motorcycles grew by 13% increasing from 72,687 units in October 2012 to 82,352 units in October 2013. Scooters registered sales of 42,124 units in October 2013 as against 43,973 units in October 2012.
The company’s total exports grew by 25% with sales increasing from 18,563 units in the month of October 2012 to 23,154 units in October 2013. Two wheeler exports registered a growth of 4% with sales growing from 16,103 units in October 2012 to 16,750 units in October 2013.
The company witnessed a significant increase in sales of three wheelers with sales growing by 95% from 4,062 units in October 2012 to 7,926 units in October 2013.
