Triumph Motorcycles unveiled a limited edition of their Speed Triple R series for the UK market. Termed as the “Dark” edition, the 1050cc 133 bhp naked motorcycle gets red and black highlights complementing the Triple’s red frame. Additional cosmetics include new “R 1050” logos and air-brushed Union Jack flags on the fuel tank. The black-red theme is further extended to the windscreen and the belly pan.
The “Dark” livery is a work of Germany based customizers “8 Ball” and would be sold in a miniscule limited number of 30 motorcycles. Commanding a premium of £200 over the regular motorcycle, the 2013 Triumph Speed Triple R “Dark” is pure cosmetic with no performance upgrades.
