Japanese auto giant Toyota has launched the Prius PHV in the Japanese car market. The new Prius PHV facelift sports some minor changes in its interiors and exteriors.

Talking about the cosmetic updates, the car comes with a new dual-tone paint job, illumination ‘PHV’ and ‘Hybrid Synergy Drive’ logos, new aluminium wheels, a padded storage compartment in the dashboard and new dark wood grain inserts for the centre console and the armrests.

Toyota has also upgraded the welding equipment which it uses for the manufacturing of the Prius PHV. This translates into a slightly more rigid body.
