It is no secret that the Toyota Etios Liva hatchback has failed to take its segment by storm. It may be noted that the Etios Liva is the cheapest offering from TKM and caters to the B segment of our car market.
Toyota-Kirloskar Motors has now come up with a special edition to woo those in the market for a B segment hatchback. This car, which is being marketed as second anniversary celebration edition, has been christened as the Toyota Liva Xclusive.
This Liva Xclusive edition comes with refreshed interiors that get a two tone finish for the dash. Toyota-Kirloskar Motors has intimidated that they will build only 1000 units of the Liva Xclusive Edition.
Apart from the refreshed interiors and a 1,000 car limit, Toyota has not revealed other details of this Xclusive Edition. Even the prices haven’t been declared yet. As the Indian auto industry is undergoing a phase of really slow sales, we guess that Toyota won’t increase the prices of the Liva Xclusive. The engine options have been carried over from the standard model, which means that the special edition car comes with three engine options, 1.2 liter and 1.5 liter petrol engines and a 1.4 liter turbo diesel engine.
It would be interesting to see if this Liva Xclusive edition will be able to pull the hatchback buyers to Toyota showroomss.
Stay tuned to Motoroids for the prices of this Liva Xclusive Edition.
