Toyota Glanza Interior Details Revealed In A New Spy Video

With more and more spy images capturing the upcoming Toyota Glanza flooding the internet on a daily basis, we finally have some shots covering the interior of this rebadged Maruti Suzuki Baleno. As part of an MoU between the two automotive giants, Toyota and Suzuki, signed in the month of February, 2017, the Baleno is the first model that these companies will share. In the future, Toyota also has plans to sell a rebadged version of the Vitara Brezza compact SUV and even the Ertiga MPV. While there is quite some time before we see the latter two cars make an appearance in the market, the Glanza has already started to arrive at dealerships, due to which a high number of spy images and video of the car can be seen, here is one such video revealing the interior details of the car.

As you can see, the Glanza has no changes on the inside, retaining even the same infotainment screen. The amount of cost-cutting Toyota has done is quite evident in these pictures. A shot of the engine bay also reveals the absence of a stone guard, while a standard, rectangular key is captured in another image, which is offered with most Toyota’s that offer keyless entry and a push button for the engine. The Glanza also features the colour MID display, offering a ton of information to the driver. The only change seen on the inside is a Toyota badge on the steering wheel which replaces the ‘S’ logo from Suzuki. Coming to the exterior, the new grille, consisting of horizontal slats, wheel caps with a Toyota logo and badges at the rear differentiate the Glanza from the Baleno.

Just like the exterior and interior design, the Glanza will also borrow the powertrain from the Baleno hatchback. Out of the three engine options on offer with the Baleno, the Glanza will come with the 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated, 4-pot powerplant. Tuned to deliver 82.94 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm in the Baleno, expect the Glanza to deliver the same figure. This motor can be expected to be offered with a 5-speed stick shift as standard, as seen in this video but a CVT automatic can also be expected to be offered as an option. To be offered in two variants only – an entry-level G variant and a top of the line Variant, keep looking at this space for more information on the Glanza and do have a look at this spy video, linked below.
