Tork Kratos And Kratos-R Deliveries Begin

Tork Motors begins the delivery of its e-bikes, Tork Kratos and Kratos-R. Up till now, 20 bikes have already been delivered from the company headquarters in Pune. The deliveries were previously set for April but due to the chip storage they got delayed and the company had to shift the delivery to July.

Tork Motors is currently only available in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi. The Kratos e-bike comes with a price tag of Rs. 1.08 lakh, while for the Kratos-R the company has set the price of  Rs. 1.23 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune after subsidies). The company is also offering a 3-year/40,000km warranty on the bike.

Both the bikes come with a 4kWh battery pack which has a claimed real-world range of 120km on both models. While the performance and power differ in both the models. The Kratos delivers 7.5 kW and 28 Nm of torque and can go from 0 to 40 kph in 4 seconds, it also offers a high speed of 100 kmph. The Kratos-R comes with more power, the motor of this e-bike belts out 9 kW and 38 Nm torque, and can run from 0 to 40 kph in 3.5 seconds. The top speed of this bike is  105 kmph.

Of the many features offered by these bikes, most of them can be operated by a smartphone app. Other features include a basic LCD display with readouts for distance to empty, trip data, and a clock. It also comes equipped with navigation, OTA updates, and much more. The Kratos-R comes with additional features like fast charging, which takes it from 0 to 80 percent in an hour. 

Kratos gets a ground clearance of 165mm. The battery has various sensors which analyze various parameters and usage. The battery gets an IP67 waterproof rating. The battery can be charged at home which will take around 4-5 hours. While The Kratos R also gets additional connectivity features that can be accessed via the Tork app. It gets features such as crash alert, geo-fencing, find my vehicle, motor walk assist, turn-by-turn navigation, track mode, track analytics, smart charge analysis, and vacation mode.
