So, the mystery Maybach coupe concept teased last week has finally gotten a name. It will be called the Mercedes-Maybach 6 Coupe, and a new teaser gives us a glimpse of its powerful front fascia. The styling is unlike any Maybach we’ve ever seen, with the front end dominated by an impossibly wide face showing off its array of fine and sharpened chrome teeth. The slit like headlamps, LED powered of course, are dwarfed by the massive grille that, along with the ginormous, contoured hood is sure to be hiding some ludicrously powerful, yet butter-smooth V12 engine.

In profile, the suave two-door concept will be irresistibly classy, and large, given that this car will be six meters long; over three feet longer than an S-Class Coupe and nearly four feet longer than a Bentley Continental GT. There’s an unmistakable Maybach badge on the C-pillar, while the fast-back shape and the lengthy hood signify pace and grace even when standing still. The Mercedes-Maybach 6 Concept will be revealed on August 21.
