Tata Zest Sportz edition launched; celebrates the sale of 50,000 units

Tata Motors recently launched a limited edition model of the Zest compact sedan called the Zest Sportz edition. Launched to celebrate two years of the model and sales of 50,000 units, the Zest Sportz edition will be available across the variant range. On offer would be an EMI package that starts at Rs. 3,999; an exchange bonus of Rs.30, 000; free insurance worth Rs. 33,000 and benefits up to Rs. 68,000.

For a sticker price of Rs. 20,000 over the price of the variant chosen, the package will offer a red coloured body kit, red OVRM cap, body graphics, gloss black roof, door visors and alloy wheels. The latter will be a standard fitment only on the top-end variant although one can opt for it as a dealer level accessory.

Powering the Zest Spotz edition will be the same 1.2 litre turbocharged Revotron petrol engine and the 1.3 litre Fiat sourced Quadrajet diesel engine with the former is tuned to produce a power output of 90 PS and 140 Nm of torque. The diesel motor is available in two states of tune- 75 PS of power with 190 Nm of torque and 90 PS of power with 200 Nm of torque. These engines come mated to a five speed manual transmission as standard whereas the automatic transmission is available for the diesel variants.
