Tata Safari Adventure Persona Edition: Here’s Everything You Need To Know!

This year started with a bang when Tata Motors announced that its flagship SUV called the Gravitas would be rebadged to ‘Safari’ in its production guise. The ‘Safari’ moniker is enough to evoke strong emotions of nostalgia because the Safari is one of the most loved SUVs to ever grace our shores. Its previous iterations garnered praises for their ruggedness and road presence, something which we can expect from the new Safari as well.

Although the Safari is based on the Harrier, there are quite a few things that make the two SUV differ from each other, one of them being the Adventure Persona edition.

The new Adventure Persona trim is placed at the very top of the line at ₹20.20 lakh (ex-showroom) for manual and ₹21.45 lakh (ex-showroom) for the automatic version.

Changes in the exterior

Starting with the differentiating factors, the Adventure Persona gets an exclusive shade of ‘Tropical Mist’. According to the homegrown carmaker, the Safari Adventure Persona is inspired by the misty green shades of the tropical forest. It isn’t the first time that Tata is banking on the environment factor to build hype around its product.

The addition of panoramic sunroof in the Harrier saw the carmaker branding it by saying that it will bring you closer to the nature. The Tropical Mist colour shade definitely looks attractive and not to forget, unique too. In other words, what the Camo edition is to the Harrier, the Adventure Persona edition is to the Safari.

Apart from the exclusive shade, there are some other elements too, which help differentiate the Safari Adventure Persona from other trims of the SUV. Take the R18 Charcoal Grey machined alloys for an instance, which replace the dual-tone units found on the regular Safari. The front end gets quite a few changes as well, including the Piano Black and Granite Black shades splattered across the front fascia. The Safari mascot too, is finished in a smoked black shade as opposed to chrome garnishing.

The cabin

The interior layout and features might be the same as the top-spec Safari, but the Adventure Persona gets Earthy brown interiors inspired by the golden hues of the deserts. For instance, the regular Safari has Oyster White interior theme, paired with Ash Wood dashboard.

Complimenting the Earthy Brown shade of the cabin are the dark chrome and piano black finished materials. Apart from these changes, everything remains unchanged. It gets all the bells and whistles which the top-of-the-line variant gets.
