Tata Manza’s new web campaign is directly aimed at Honda Amaze

The high selling Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire is not the only car that is facing heat from the launch of Honda Amaze sedan.

We reported in detail when Toyota Kirloskar Motors came out with the Etios facelift and now Tata Motors has come up with a web campaign which is directly aimed at the Honda Amaze.

The new web campaign redirects you to Manza’s official website where a direct comparison between the Manza and the new Honda Amaze has been provided. The campaign, which says “Bigger is Better”, talks about Manza’s prices, specs and features in comparison with those of the Amaze. Tata has compared the Manza VX, the mid spec trim level, with the Amaze VX high end model.

Tata puts stress on Manza’s USPs, which include spacious interiors, bigger boot and more equipment levels. The Manza VX comes loaded to the brim with features such as a touchscreen In-Car Entertainment system that has GPS and Bluetooth compatibility.

Thanks to the slowdown that our auto industry is witnessing of late, Tata is selling the Manza sedan at discounted price. Other than offering a direct discount, Tata is also offering a 60% buyback assurance offer which allows the buyers to sell their car back to Tata Motors after 3 years in exchange for 60% of the new car’s money.

The fully loaded Manza VX is on sale for a price of INR 7.36 lakhs. The Honda Amaze VX, on the other hand, sells for a considerably higher price of INR 8.01 lakhs.  (All prices ex-showroom Mumbai).

It remains to be seen if the lower price tag, combined with the discounts and the new web campaign that aims at attracting C segment sedan buyers, would enable Tata to boast of a better sales performance for the Manza.
