Tata Hexa goes off-road in special event in Jaipur

Even before the media drives of the Tata Hexa are scheduled to begin, the SUV was handed over to potential customers in Jaipur at an event titled CEO Cricket Challenge. The potential customers were given a chance to drive the Hexa as well as explore its off-road capabilities, and they came away impressed, according to their responses on social media post the event. The media drives for the Tata Hexa are scheduled for the end of this month, while a launch is imminent.

Measuring 4764 mm long, 1895 mm wide, 1780 mm tall and riding on a wheelbase of 2850 mm, the Hexa will be the Aria’s replacement model. Upon launch, the Hexa will be powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, good for 154.21 hp and 400 Nm of maximum torque, with a shift-on-the-fly 4WD system to be offered as an option. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and an all-new 6-speed automatic. A multi- drive option with four modes – Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road, will also be available.

The Hexa also gets all-new interiors, a Harman sourced 5″ touch-screen equipped infotainmnet system, a JBL 10 speaker system with subwoofer and amplifier, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver seat, multi-coloured ambient car illumination and much more. The Hexa comes with safety features like 6 airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Corner Stability Control, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Traction Control System and Engine Drag Control System.
