It is a well known fact that Japanese car maker Suzuki Motor Corporation is busy with the development of the all new Suzuki SX4 and the current generation of the car is almost at the fag end of its career. However, it seems like Suzuki hasn’t yet given up on the current SX4 and plans to make the most of whatever life that remains in the fast ageing Suzuki crossover.
While India will soon get the SX4 sedan facelift, Italian car market has received two special edition variants of the Suzuki crossover.
Christened as the Evolution and Evolution+, the new special variants of the crossover are based on the GL and GLX trim levels respectively.
The Evolution edition gets more equipment in the form of leather wrapped steering wheel, dual tone fabrics, a multimedia infotainment system with 5” touchscreen display and Bluetooth connectivity and a sat- nav system.
On the outside, the Suzuki SX4 Evolution comes in a new Bison Brown color option and sports ORVM mounted turn indicators, new alloy wheels and silver roof rails.
The Evolution+ gets all the features of Evolution along with rear power windows, automatic climate control and cruise control.
The Suzuki SX4 Evolution and Evolution+ special editions come with two engine options- a 1.6-litre VVT petrol engine mated to an all wheel drive system and a Fiat sourced 2.0 litre DDIS diesel engine.
The SX4 Evolution has a starting price tag of €18,590 for the petrol engine variant and €19,590 for the diesel model.
