Suzuki Motor Corporation recently announced the launch of Suzuki Swift Sport SZ-R, a special edition variant of the popular hatchback, in the UK market. The car will go on sale starting from March 1.
The Suzuki Swift Sport SZ-R gets a Cosmic Black exterior paint job with Ablaze Red paint on the roof, outside rear view mirrors and rear spoiler. On the inside, the car gets a red accented gear knob, floor mats and contrast red stitching on the steering wheel cover and seats. The Suzuki Swift Sport SZ-R is limited edition car will also have unique numbered door sills.
The equipment list includes seven airbags, climate control, cruise control, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, 17” wheels and HID projector headlamps. Powering the Suzuki Swift Sport SR-Z is the same 1.6 litre gasoline engine that powers the regular Swift Sport in UK market. The 1.6 litre petrol engine has a max power output of 136 bhp and enables the car to accelerate from standstill to 100km/h in a quick 8.7 seconds. The car has a top whack of 194 kmph.
Only 100 units of Swift SZ-R will be made and the limited edition variant is priced at £14,249.
