Ladies and Gentlemen! Meet the Swift Outback- the pick-up truck body variant of the high selling Swift hatchback. The Swift Outback was recently spotted testing near the Sri Permaisuri Lake in Malaysia and it is being said that the car was undergoing extreme weather testing.
The Suzuki Swift Outback sports similar styling as the hatchback till the B pillars and comes featuring body cladding, skid plates and 4×4 badges. The Swift Outback could be soon launched in Malaysia to challenge the likes of the Proton Arena, which has been clocking decent numbers on the sales charts.
For the Malaysian car market, the Swift gets the K14B 1.4 VVT petrol engine that has a max power output of 95 PS@6,000 rpm and a peak torque figure of 130Nm@ 4,000 rpm.
