What you see here are first official images of the Suzuki Spacia small car that have leaked on to the cyber space prior to the car’s official unveil in a few days.
The new Spacia has considerable possibility of becoming the next gen Suzuki Palette and will be a kei car meant for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). The Spacia is based on the Wagon R hatchback that we have on sale in our car market. The Spacia too has a tall boy design that makes for an airy interior space. Ease of ingress and egress is further enhanced by the sliding rear doors. Powering the Spacia is a 660 cc turbocharged petrol engine that has a max power of 64 bhp.
This is the same engine that powers the JDM spec Wagon R and has a rated fuel economy figure of an astonishing 29 kmpl The Spacia comes loaded with features like Start/Stop system and brake energy regeneration system to further enhance the fuel economy and reduce the emissions. The Spacia also has a 4WD variant that has a fuel economy figure of 26.8 kmpl. The Spacia is available in three trim levels- G, X, and T. The four wheel drive system is reserved for the T variant.
