Suzuki Motorcycle India Limited (SMIL) today unveiled its new 110cc scooter ‘Let’s. The Let’s is powered by a 112.8 cc engine with peak power output rated at 8.7 hp @ 7,500 rpm and peak torque output of 9.0 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. Suzuki Motorcycle India is claiming a fuel efficiency figure of 63 kmpl for the scooter. The Suzuki Gixxer 150cc motorcycle was also unveiled at the event. Suzuki Motorcycle India Limited is targeting the urban youth with the Let’s scooter. The company is aiming at customers who are looking for styling, economy and practicality. Well known actress Parineeti Chopra has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the new scoot. Suzuki Motorcycles used the unveiling event of Let’s scooter to introduce the medi9a to the new brand ambassador as well.
The Let’s scooter is being described by Suzuki as ‘practical, light and fast’. The engine powering the engine has been described as ‘light, compact and fuel efficient’. The new Let’s is expected to deliver great acceleration and handling too.
The official press statement from Suzuki red “It has the stylish looks for riders seeking fun from a two-wheeler, while also giving a healthy dose of practicality like the cut away floor boards for easy handling, the versatility and convenience from the twist and go engine makes it a stylish scooter for work or pleasure.
The tagline for the new Let’s scooter is “Let’s Karte hain!” The Suzuki Let’s is available in 5 colours – Pearl Mira Red, Metallic Triton Blue, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black & Metallic Sonic Silver.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Mr. Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, SMIL said “Suzuki is keen on providing products for the Indian customer at every price point. The new products will give a refreshing experience and will simultaneously be evocative of the Suzuki legacy of Value Packed Products. We expect both the Gixxer and Let’s to create a strong foothold for themselves in the market. Parineeti Chopra is the fresh, young vivacious face that connects with Indian youth and their quest for freedom and new expression.
