Suzuki Inazuma has not been able to catapult the company’s rankings in the quarter-litre motorcycle segment of the Indian two-wheeler market. A hefty price tag and old-school design did not attract many customers. And now, there is a very good possibility that the Japanese two-wheeler major may be planning to pull out the product from the Indian market. Why? To begin with, Suzuki has taken off the Inazuma from its official India website.

The page on Suzuki’s website which displays company’s entire product line up for India did not have the Inazuma. The Inazuma is also missing from the “Bikes” drop down box. However, a standalone website still exists that gives all the information about the Inazuma including the dealer and pricing details.

The Suzuki Inazuma is powered by a 250cc fuel-injected, parallel twin engine that produces 26 bhp of power and 24.4 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Currently, the motorcycle retails for Rs 2.61 lakh (on-road Mumbai). Earlier this year, the product witnessed a steep price cut of Rs 1 lakh.

So is this the mark of the end of the Suzuki Inazuma in India? That’s something that only time can answer. Do share your thoughts and opinions about the Inazuma with us through comments below.
