Suzuki Inazuma GW250 seen at dealership. January 27 launch

A couple of hours earlier today, we reported that it is being claimed that the upcoming Suzuki Inazuma will have a sticker price of INR 3.13 Lakhs (ex showroom, Delhi) when it is launched in India on January 27. While the price-leak has created an outrage sort-of with the bike aficionados of the country, the folks at IAB have come up with a handful of spy pics of a few Inazuma motorcycles parked in a dealership.

The pre-bookings for the soon to be launched Suzuki Inazuma GW250 are already underway for a booking amount of INR 10,000 and deliveries of the bike are likely to commence on the day of the launch itself.

The Suzuki Inazuma GW250 is powered by an inline twin, fuel-injected, 250cc motor that belts out a max power of 26 bhp and peak torque of 24.4 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the bike features a semi double-cradle chassis. Suspension duties are performed by a set of telescopic forks at front a seven way adjustable monoshock at rear. The bike will come equipped with disc brakes at both front and rear.

However, at INR 3.13 lakhs, the bike will be priced rather stratospheric-ally and a really ordinary (for a 250cc) power output and the oddball looks don’t help matters either.  Hence, it is surely going to be pretty interesting to note if Suzuki India will manage to sell its quarter litre contender in good volumes.

What do you feel about the Inazuma 250? With a price like that, is Suzuki India looking like it would deliver a still-born? Do let us know by commenting below.
